These objects recall the beginning of the relationship with Finestry during lockdown.
The artist from tanned orange peels and ground peels made cosmetic items generally used for body care, a practice lost during home confinement at the height of the pandemic. DeBlassie, during that time, reflected on ways in which patriarchal social pressures, generally aimed at maintaining the aesthetic care of the body, were reshaped.
