2012/2020, mixed technique with country earth on 25 canvases 10×15 cm, wall installation, variable size.
The installation is made up of constructions in the void covered with earth from the Lecce countryside, which belong to the cycle called In fieri. The organic matter suggests the theme of nature, as a welcoming mother in life and in death, with references to peasant and popular culture. The artist uses this medium, like a palette offered to her by mother nature, in the idea of a living cycle in perpetual transmutation. The removal of the land was carried out in several campaigns; the earth with a predominance of red or yellow comes from a place in Salento called “The three hills”.
