Open Call for Artists Cinema Evening 2022
Finestreria is the neologism of an experimental space that seeks to convey the intimacy experienced observing the world from our window with the public space of a gallery. The Finestreria concept looks at the border; the frontier of a place where public and private space embrace each other in search of new limits to observe or overcome.
The Finestreria Cultural Association aims to enhance, promote, and disseminate contemporary art with the aim of encouraging the spread of a broad sensitivity for culture and the arts by collaborating with other realities. We are selecting films, documentaries, video art, shorts, video mapping and more to be able to screen and therefore organize a cinema event. No specific topic is required to participate in the call. Minimum duration of a job from 00:01:00 min up to a maximum of 2:00:00. Short videos will be included in an evening with other films and feature films will benefit from an exclusive cinema evening.
Open call for artists with the aim of promoting talents mainly in the Milan area (this is because we would be happy to have the presence of the director/video artist for the cinema evening), but the possibility of selecting from other regions and states is not excluded. For Finestreria it is important to collaborate with artists who want to cooperate by disseminating and publicizing the evenings with us. Italian subtitles are required for videos made in English. The choice of the authors of Finestreria is final. The headquarters of Art Studio Finestreria is a small studio that can accommodate a maximum of 25 visitors. No contribution is required to participate, and no contribution will be made for copyright.
